Bring a little dragon magic home! This dragon-themed story time take & make craft will be available at the youth services desk from March 10–16, while supplies last. 

Each Terrific Tuesday kicks off with lively read-alouds that pull you right into the story. Then the adventure continues with interactive games that make the tales come alive.

Get ready to catch ’em all at our official Pokémon Club! Players ages 6–14 will learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game while building reading, math and social skills.

Join us for a magical matinee that’s fun for the whole family. We’ll be showing The Secret Garden (G; 1993), based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

To celebrate the second Friday the 13th this year, participants will create an ooey, gooey blood slime using clear glue, water, liquid starch and plenty of red food coloring.

Join us for Elevenses, also known as morning tea, and enjoy a cozy introduction to British tea traditions.

Celebrate beautiful spring gardens with this story time-themed take-and-make craft, available at the youth services desk from March 17–23, or while supplies last.

Step into a world of whimsy and wonder as we transform tiny plant pots into enchanting fairy cottages! In this magical program, participants will use vibrant acrylic paint pens to bring these homes to life—complete with tiny décor. 

Get creative and design a mini beaded plant that never needs watering! In this fun, hands-on craft, participants will create a colorful plant perfect for decorating your space or sharing with friends and family.

Fairies and gnomes don’t rely on magic alone—they use science, creativity and clever design.

Let the filament flow and see what you can create. Experiment with 3D printing pens as you design and build your own creations in this hands-on program. Hang out with friends, get creative and enjoy a relaxed start to your weekend.

Join us for a magical Fairy Tea Party celebrating imagination, art and nature.

Squish, smoosh and create at Playdough Fun. This drop-in program offers a multi-sensory experience designed to support fine motor development through hands-on play with gluten-free playdough. 

New to knitting? Join Artist in Residence Kia Love for a beginner-friendly introduction to knitting essentials. Participants will learn how to cast on, knit basic stitches and bind off to finish a simple project.

Learn the basics of coding and robotics with our new robotic car, indi. Put your problem-solving skills to the test as you program indi to navigate an obstacle course and race to the finish line. Can you help indi make it through?
