At the Library After School? Think otters are one of the cutest and cuddly aquatic animals?

Dale M. Pollock's vintage crime mystery, Chopped: A Novel, explores an investigation and trial where the earliest use of forensics and court stenography were used.

At this program we will look in the 398s at scary stories and folklore. We will play a game using action dice to make our own scary story/Halloween characters narrative, with a possible craft at the end.

Join us for an afternoon of ghosts, scarecrows, killers with hooks for hands and more. Teens and tweens will have the chance to share classic stories, create new stories and give their friends a friendly scare. Ages 12-17. 

Calling all heroes, mages, wanderers, scoundrels and goblins! Join the party and play 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons with Dungeon Master Taylor. We will be meeting every first and third Thursday of the month.

We will be making a fun silhouette lantern using a fandom template that teens have voted on the month before. Snacks will be provided.

Practice reading out loud to a four-legged friend. The dogs from Love on a Leash enjoy listening to stories of all kinds and are a great way to encourage shy or reluctant readers. Bring your favorite book or choose one of ours. All ages. 

Ready for Popcorn and Chill? Enjoy Ghostbusters: Afterlife (PG-13) while snacking on some tasty popcorn. Sit back and chill, or make mosaic art out of colorful popcorn kernels.
