Instead of hiding in flower beds, twelve garden gnomes have wandered into the library and are hiding around the children’s area. Can you find all twelve before the month is over?

We're gathering all the good luck we can. Lucky items are hidden throughout the children’s area—can you find them all? Track down every lucky find and return to the desk to claim a special sticker.

Fairies love shiny things! Create a glittery pixie dust sensory jar to attract magical visitors and add a little enchantment to your space. Kits are available for pickup near the youth services desk while supplies last. 

Can you find all the magical fairies and their animal friends? Search the area to spot them all and earn a sparkly temporary tattoo as your reward! Stickers are also available upon request. 

Available March 2–31. 

The fairies have hidden themselves—and their magic—around the library! Search the main area to find all 16 fairy-themed items, enjoy the enchantment and add a little magic to your visit.

We have some bugs in our garden! Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the children's service desk, find all eight bugs and return the sheet for a free sticker. 

The program runs March 2-31, 2026. 

This March, step into a world of enchantment as you explore the youth services area in search of magical creatures. Keep an eye out for friendly dragons, curious gnomes and fluttering fairies hiding throughout the library.

Something magical has taken root in the children’s area. Search high and low for all eight enchanted garden icons hidden throughout. Once you’ve found them all, bring your completed sheet to the desk to claim a special prize.

Before there were books … there were dinosaurs! Travel back in time and design a bookmark for our Summer Reading Challenge - Unearth a Story, which focuses on dinosaurs, archaeology and paleontology.
