Join us for the West Book Club monthly meeting. Engage in a lively book chat about the book for the month of November. The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros is about 12-year-old Esperanza Cordero, who lives in a poor neighborhood in Chicago with her parents and three siblings. The book highlights a year in her life and revolves around themes of race, sexuality, social class and gender.
