Teen Writers’ Rumble: Attention Grabbers

Join us for our first monthly teen writing challenge! 

Receive a prompt, brainstorm with peers, then write the most intriguing first page you can create for an original or retold myth! After the writing period, anyone who wants to share their story opener will read it aloud. Peers will anonymously vote on their favorites and the winner receives a prize. 

This program is part of the 2025 Storytelling Festival and is supported by a Grant from the Arts Council of Fayetteville|Cumberland County, the North Carolina Arts Council and, in part, by contributions from the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County and other community partners.
