Event Details

Can you cook for a group with $25 or less? We invite teens (ages 14-18) to learn how to cook a meal on a budget. And yes, you get to eat the food too! 

This month we are doing something special to celebrate 2024's NC Science Festival. Instead of cooking a meal we will be baking a dessert. As we bake, we will talk about the differences in cooking and baking as well as how you can relate baking to chemistry. 

Dessert of the Month: Brownies from scratch
