Do you have a favorite book genre or are you still searching for the one for you? We invite young reader explorers (ages 8-13) to join us every month for various book discussions and adventuring different genres. 

June's genre theme is Magical Realism/Folktales and the Book of the Month: When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller. 

When Lily and her parents move into the home of her sick grandmother, she makes a special promise to a magical tiger. This story is inspired by Korean folktales. 

We encourage readers to read the book before the meeting to avoid spoilers.
