Do you have a favorite book genre or are you still searching for the one for you? 

We invite young reader explorers (ages 8-12) to join us every month for various book discussions and adventuring different genres. 

January's genre theme will be horror. 

Book of the Month: The Last Kids on Earth by Max Brallier. 

Jack Sullivan has been surviving in his treehouse since the monster apocalypse started, armed with catapults and a moat. With the help of his friends, he hopes to defeat the hordes of Zombies, Winged Wrenches, Vine Thingies and the Blarg. Can he and his friends defeat them to achieve the ultimate Feat of Apocalyptic Success? 

We encourage readers to read the book before the meeting to avoid spoilers.
