Do you have a favorite book genre or are you still searching for the one for you?

We invite young reader explorers (ages 8-12) to join us every month for various book discussions and adventuring different genres.

March's genre theme will be mystery

Book of the Month: City Spies by James Ponti

Kid hacker, Sara Martinez, exposes her foster family as cheats and lawbreakers, only for her to end up in juvenile detention as well. She is soon rescued by Mother, a British spy, who offers Sara a home among the MI6. From there she attends a boarding school of other child prodigies honing their skills and participates in espionages around the world that adults can't. Before she knows it, she's hacking into a rival school's computer and trying to stop a villain. Did we mention she's also dangling from a building while doing it?

We encourage readers to read the book before the meeting to avoid spoilers.
