Do you have a favorite book genre or are you still searching for the one for you? We invite young reader explorers (ages 8-13) to join us every month for various book discussions and adventuring different genres. 

July's genre is Mystery. 

Book of the Month: Book Scavenger by Jennifer Bertman Chambliss  

Shortly after twelve-year-old Emily and her family move to San Francisco, she and her new friend James discover an unusual book filled with clues. Together, they embark on a quest to uncover its secrets before the men who attacked Emily's idol, publisher Garrison Griswold, solve the mystery or target them next. 

We encourage readers to read the book before the meeting to avoid spoilers.
