Join Cape Fear Botanical Garden environmental educators for a special S.T.E.M. workshop that’s part of the month long NC Science Festival. 

Come learn how nature has inspired inventions for everything from Velcro to bullet trains and robots. Kids will have a chance to meet one of the live education animals, design a floating raft and build a solar powered bug. 

This program is intended for kids ages 5-10. 

This event is part of the North Carolina Science Festival, a statewide celebration of STEM. You can find more events like this all month long at ncscifest.org.
