This Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we have a special family movie club just for the month of May featuring animated Asian and Pacific Islander-based protagonists. 

The second movie in our series: The Tiger's Apprentice (PG; 2024). Bring your own snacks and blankets for max comfiness. Doors open at 1:45 p.m., movie starts at 2 p.m. 

Movie Summary: In San Francisco's Chinatown, a seemingly average boy named Tom discovers he's the new guardian of a phoenix egg following his grandmother’s passing. With guidance from Mr. Hu, a talking tiger, Tom must learn ancient magic to shield the egg from dark forces—joined by a quirky group of creatures representing the Chinese zodiac.
