Are you a homeschool student who loves to read? Visit the children's desk to pick up your copy of When Sea Becomes Sky by Gillian McDunn, a reading response journal and other goodies. Join us ready to discuss the book, play games and socialize with new friends! 

Bex and Davey set out to save their beloved marsh from developers only to learn that sometimes progress happens whether you're ready or not in this heartfelt summer story of love, family and holding on as well as letting go. 

This month's book pick is through a grant with Great Books from Great Places that was supported by North Carolina Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, www.nchumanities.org.
