Event Details

Want to learn what a plant needs to grow? Or how a small seed becomes a giant tree? Then join us for a morning of flowers, seeds and fun! This Summer Reading program starts with a fun garden story time led by a Cape Fear Botanical Garden environmental educator. Then each child will dissect his or her own seed, and we'll make rubbings of different plants and flowers. Last we'll explore sensory plant activity stations and plant our own seeds. Registration is required by calling (910) 483-7727 ext. 1361 or registering online.
