This month's read is Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie also known as A Haunting in Venice (PG-13; 2023). 

A Haunting in Venice unfolds in atmospheric, post–World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve, weaving a chilling mystery around the legendary detective Hercule Poirot. Though retired and living in self-imposed seclusion in the city’s opulent setting, Poirot begrudgingly agrees to attend a séance in a crumbling, haunted palazzo. When one of the attendees is killed, he is drawn back into a dark labyrinth of secrets, shadows and suspicion.
