Get ready to make waves at the library with the Giant Battleship—our official kickoff to the North Carolina Science Festival! We’re launching a full month of exciting science programs all throughout April, and this ocean-themed adventure sets the course for fun. 

Challenge your friends in a supersized game of Battleship, then drop anchor at our maritime craft station to create sea-inspired masterpieces. Refuel with refreshments as you plot your next move and try to sink the competition. 

Whether you’re a master strategist or just in it for the snacks and crafts, this event is packed with fun and discovery. No sea legs required—just bring your crew and your competitive spirit.
